Best of 2021 - DJ Favorites
We asked several DJs and music fans what their favorite dance track were from 2021 and compiled a list for everyone to enjoy. The idea is for DJs to share a few of their secret dancefloor weapons in exchange for a variety of other DJ gems. Of course, we have to keep this to a couple tracks per person because as one artist told me “You can’t give away all your secrets!”
We loved to see the variety of genres people were dancing to last year including acid house, disco house, deep house, tech house, progressive house, organic house, classic house, afro house, and techno. Of course the first thing I did with these tracks was load them into my controller and start mixing! I knew from the get go I wanted to create a compilation mix of everything together for an easy discovery experience for those tuning in. This proved way harder than expected to capture all the genres and energy levels but after a few tries at arrangements I think it turned out pretty well!
